beautiful nature photos: encapsulated

dearest odyssians,

little sprout in a bubble
life encapsulated… now just hit spin cycle

new question: Am i always busy or am i just mismanaging my time? feeling like im on the hamster wheel of life next to a bigger hamster and that bigger hamster just keeps running and running…hes wearing a tshirt emblazoned with “c’est la vie” in big bold letters.  im trying to keep up, but feel im not doing a very good job. realization: i cant step off – proverbial wheel’s already going too fast. additional realization: if i just say “screw it” and stand still ill end up being stuck to the wheel by gravity and flipping around, over and over. neither is an option. gotta keep runnin til the big guy gets tired.

so im sending this message to the time gods. odie mama needs a whole week off to do nothing but “figure it out”. this only works if while im away the world  freezes.

til then: my wheels a turnin and my feet are a burnin…..

are any of you guys feeling this rat race thing going on?  maybe its a star sun moon earth planet space universal time galaxy alignment thing. cuz my life should be a breeze right now.

alrighty then. ill be ok. in time.

hugs, o and om

  1. Please – do take the time off. No good if you don’t. We all feel it sometimes. It is far better to come back refreshed than to push on and let it wear you down.

Seriously. You health and happiness contribute to what you blog. Without those things, no one wins.

Take care. Rest. Play. Have fun. Make it two weeks if you feel like it.

    We will still be here.

Oh, and include alcohol and watching funny movies (just a suggestion). :)

    • hi a.d.

“no rest for the weary” is a phrase comes to mind when i think about how i feel right now.your advice is grand. your words kind. but the surmountable remains for the moment.commitments, such as blog, cannot be ignored. the guilt is more destructive than the cure (rest). so for now it seems like my work and social are at max capacity. but im going to try to bust through all norms on this one- in terms of battling for quiet time. if only i could clone myself. but i wouldnt give all of the work nor all the fun to just one of me. half and half and half and half would equal my wholes. my blogs have been a little of a drudge patrol as of late. hope my down didnt bring anyone else down. trying to add sugar to the salt ive poured in the wounds, aka humor.
we are doing the movies and relying on rum for the rest.
hugs from up yonder to you down south.

also. a favor. might you take a bit of rest for us. kick your feet up. take in the aussie sunset with the aid of a with a glass of white… since we cant manage to enjoy that much free time ourselves?

      -o and om

      • I will drink to your health and also for rest time for you. All you need is a notice up saying you won’t be in touch for as long as it takes – everyone will understand. Even comments can wait.

That said, I cannot tell you what to do, but please consider it. The world will wait for you.

Remind yourself that a break is not failure, it’s renewal and necessary if you want to give your best.

As always, all the best, and hugs. Take care.
